Do you have to negotiate a big deal today? Are you thinking about moving to a new city? Are you wondering whether or not to stay with your significant other? Andrea Valeria, best-selling author, radio talk-show host, and astrologer, shows you how to find the answers with this uniquely practical and fun approach to making everyday decisions by using astrology as your personal tool. With Astrological Intelligence, you are able to create your own destiny in three simple steps. Using the easy-to-read chart in the front of the book, decode where you are in your decision-making process by matching your astrological sign to the situation you find yourself in: approaching, questioning, strategizing, negotiating, bonding, or building. The chart readily leads you to the word that will help you not only make a decision, but also decipher the most effective way of relating to your friends, lovers, colleagues, family, and so on. Valeria is that rarest of finds: a truly intelligent astrologer. Drawing from her training and experience, and from her 4,000-volume professional library on every aspect of philosophy, psychology, and cosmology, Valeria offers life-changing advice to devoted clients the world over. Astrological Intelligence gives you a practical system for applying her insights, a step-by-step guide to successfully making the everyday choices that shape the quality of our lives. Editorial Reviews From Library Journal Valeria has been an astrologer for 30 years, helping friends and clients with real-life questions regarding job changes, relationships, education, and how to work more effectively with others. She uses astrology to guide others toward knowing themselves better and making decisions to their best advantage. In this self-help book, Valeria describes six stages of decision-making: approaching the problem, questioning, strategizing, negotiating, bonding with others, and building a future. For each stage, she describes the most comfortable direction for each of the 12 zodiacal signs, as well as how to relate optimally to people of all other signs. Valeria's work is ambitious, yet it disappoints. Her practical approach fails because her prescriptions for working with others are overly broad and vague. They appear to apply to anybody in any sign, which will frustrate students of astrology. Not recommended.?Marija Sanderling, Rochester Copyright 1999 Reed Business Information, Inc. How we describe the condition of our books

We are very proud of the condition of the books we sell (please read our testimonials to find out more!)

New: Exactly as it says.

As New: Pretty much new but shows small signs of having been read; inside it will be clean without any inscriptions or stamps; might contain a remainder mark.

Very Good: Might have some creases on the spine; no hard cracks; maybe slight forward lean and short inscription inside; perhaps very minor bumping on the corners of the book; inside clean but the page edges might be slightly yellowed.

Good: A few creases on the spine, perhaps a forward lean, bumping on corners or shelfwear; maybe an inscription inside or some shelfwear or a small tear or two on the dustjacket; inside clean but page edges might be somewhat yellowed.

Fair: In overall good condition, might have a severe forward lean to the spine, an inscription, bumping to corners; one or two folds on the covers and yellowed pages; in exceptional cases these books might contain some library stamps and stickers or have neat sticky tape which was used to fix a short, closed tear.

Poor: We rarely sell poor condition books, unless the books are in demand and difficult to find in a better condition. Poor condition books are still perfect for a good read, all pages will be intact and none threatening to fall out; most probably a reading copy only.
