Die boek is gewy aan 15 maklike keuses wat jongmense kan maak voor hulle klaarmaak met hoërskool en wat gewaarborg is om hulle lewe in ‘n gemors te laat verander. Dit sluit keuses in wat voor die hand liggend is: om dwelms te gebruik (wat ‘n baie groot probleem onder meer bevoorregte tieners is maar nie slegs beperk is tot dié met geld nie), om alkohol te misbruik, om te rook of om jouself bloot te stel aan pornografie. Die skade hiervan is enorm groot. Maar Johan bespreek ook ander keuses wat jy nie dalk aan sou gedink het nie, en waarvan die gevolge net so ingrypend en deurdringend is: om jou met ander te vergelyk, om hoogmoedig te wees, om grense en dissipline in jou ouerhuis te ignoreer of om jou ouers te ignoreer, om verkeerde vriende te maak en onder groepsdruk te swig, of om aan eetversteurings toe te gee. Dan is daar ook die versoeking wat sommige mense beleef, om hulle self te dood, of om by okkultisme betrokke te raak of tegnologie te misbruik of by voorhuwelikse seks en losbandigheid betrokke te raak. Feit is: elke jongmens word hiermee gekonfronteer. Jou keuses bepaal wat in jou lewe gaan gebeur, en die gevolge kan nog vir jare jou lewe bepaal.

New: Exactly as it says.

As New: Pretty much new but shows small signs of having been read; inside it will be clean without any inscriptions or stamps; might contain a remainder mark.

Very Good: Might have some creases on the spine; no hard cracks; maybe slight forward lean and short inscription inside; perhaps very minor bumping on the corners of the book; inside clean but the page edges might be slightly yellowed.

Good: A few creases on the spine, perhaps a forward lean, bumping on corners or shelfwear; maybe an inscription inside or some shelfwear or a small tear or two on the dustjacket; inside clean but page edges might be somewhat yellowed.

Fair: In overall good condition, might have a severe forward lean to the spine, an inscription, bumping to corners; one or two folds on the covers and yellowed pages; in exceptional cases these books might contain some library stamps and stickers or have neat sticky tape which was used to fix a short, closed tear.

Poor: We rarely sell poor condition books, unless the books are in demand and difficult to find in a better condition. Poor condition books are still perfect for a good read, all pages will be intact and none threatening to fall out; most probably a reading copy only.
