Let it snow

A snowstorm threatens to ruin Christmas for two mismatched strangers traveling together—until a spark of romance brightens the season in this charming short novel from Debbie Macomber.

Shelly Griffin is looking forward to spending time with her beloved father in Seattle for the holidays. But unexpected complications arise when her plane from San Francisco is rerouted to Portland due to inclement weather. To make matters worse, Shelly finds herself stuck sharing the last available rental car with one of her fellow passengers: handsome, uptight businessman Slade Garner.

Sure, he’s attractive, but Shelly isn’t immediately convinced she likes Slade. She’s not expecting the arduous journey to her father’s house in a severe blizzard to change her mind, either. But the more time Shelly spends with Slade, the more she suspects that she may have received an unexpected gift this Christmas: love.

Santa, baby

A holiday tradition takes a surprising turn in this beloved Christmas novella from #1 New York Times bestselling author Sherryl Woods.

Newly divorced Amy Riley has just moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, with her two children. Anxious to cheer them up, Amy takes the kids to the mall on Christmas Eve to see Santa Claus. When her young son, Josh, disappears in the crowd, their family tradition quickly escalates into a crisis, and Amy must enlist the man in the red suit himself to help find her son.

The last thing police officer Nick DiCaprio wanted to do on Christmas Eve was play Santa Claus at the local mall. But when Josh goes missing, he's suddenly grateful that his sister persuaded him to help out that night. As he and Amy search for the little boy, sparks begin to fly for this most unlikely couple.

Midnight confessions

In Virgin River, holiday kisses don’t end with Christmas—there’s still the inaugural New Year’s Eve party at Jack’s Bar to attend. Locals and newcomers alike find themselves eager for that special countdown…and that midnight kiss.

Drew Foley and Sunny Archer are each visiting Virgin River for the holidays. Sunny was dumped at the altar the previous New Year’s Eve and is in no mood to celebrate. But her uncle and his fiancée drag her to Jack’s Bar. Drew, getting over his own heartbreak, sees Sunny across the crowded room and he’s instantly smitten.

As the townspeople gather, two lonely revelers decide the best balm for their broken hearts might just be each other.

How we describe the condition of our books

We are very proud of the condition of the books we sell (please read our testimonials to find out more!)

New: Exactly as it says.

As New: Pretty much new but shows small signs of having been read; inside it will be clean without any inscriptions or stamps; might contain a remainder mark.

Very Good: Might have some creases on the spine; no hard cracks; maybe slight forward lean and short inscription inside; perhaps very minor bumping on the corners of the book; inside clean but the page edges might be slightly yellowed.

Good: A few creases on the spine, perhaps a forward lean, bumping on corners or shelfwear; maybe an inscription inside or some shelfwear or a small tear or two on the dustjacket; inside clean but page edges might be somewhat yellowed.

Fair: In overall good condition, might have a severe forward lean to the spine, an inscription, bumping to corners; one or two folds on the covers and yellowed pages; in exceptional cases these books might contain some library stamps and stickers or have neat sticky tape which was used to fix a short, closed tear.

Poor: We rarely sell poor condition books, unless the books are in demand and difficult to find in a better condition. Poor condition books are still perfect for a good read, all pages will be intact and none threatening to fall out; most probably a reading copy only.
